Rain Gear Again.

I am in need of some new light weight bib rain gear. I have the MT050 cold weather bibs and very likely will buy the light weight MT050 but thought I would ask others thoughts on the subject. I noticed my MT050 stuff cut pretty easily and thought maybe there was a more durable option out there.

I checked out the Rivers West stuff today and just about walkout with it. Very nice stuff with a 10 year waterproof warranty. They did not have the bibs so I decided to wait and shop a bit.

I was looking at a pullover Jacket for $89 and the pants for $120. I noticed later that the web site does not show the Jacket I looked at. I hope to find a store with a full line of their product. It really does look like great stuff.

Sportsmans in DM had some to look at. I wish they had the full line I would likely own some already.

RBB, nice new bow by the way.

I think I am going to go with the Rivers west stuff this year. The LAW stuff will be fairly lightweight. The new realtree camo looks good on it as well. I have yet to find any store with a full lineup....

Just checked it out on their website. Looks like some pretty good stuff. I ordered a catalog, I wonder if I'll be able to order out of it.

I have the Cabelas MTO5O, it does a pretty good job. I don't get wet, but it sure gives a cold damp feeling when the outer layer gets soaked through.

Be interested to hear how you guys like the RW stuff, be sure to report back.

I have the MT 050 in cold weather gear and yesterday bought the Rivers West for lighter rain gear. I am sure I already much prefer the Rivers West stuff. Completely quite and I am sure it will stay that way in the cold. I am real happy with this choice. Bass Pro in CB did not have any nor did Cabelas. Sportsman in Ankeny has a rack full but I am sure it won't last. The coat style I pick was the last one they had. They have no bibs. Plenty of the Back Country pants but some looked like an older version, slightly heaver. I got the Realtree AP because the last Lakota Jacket they had was this color and the pants where the new lighter stuff. They had one pull over Jacket for only 89 that really pulled hard at me. I wish I had never see that Lakota. $$$ Check it out on there site, sweet!!!

Thanks for starting this Nonres
