Anyone else getting drenched this morning? Picked up 1.5" so far and still coming down. Help out the drought situation for you in the eastern side of the state hopefully.

Yea,,been watching it all morning. Started out SW Iowa, then spread NE,,then some enhanced storms twards Ottumwa,,but now,,as has happened all past two months,,is dieing as it moves east. Don't know why. Keeps happening?West is best-east is least? Glad my land is closer west so I get some before death.

Nice and steady here in central Iowa, finally.:way: We have not had a drop in more than 3 week. It has skirted me to the southwest and to the northeast every time. I just hope it is not too late for my plot!

We haven't had much here either... its on the horizon, can't wait till the yard goes from gray to green

It's just starting here in SE Iowa. I'm praying it comes down hard and long, we need rain so bad it's not funny! I feel for the farmers man!

Sad to say it has picked up speed and colors have died,, but you are getting something out east anyhow..

I'm in west central Illinois and it looks like it's going to stay north of us. We could sure use some rain. It's dry enough here that in the last week some farmers have started to shell corn. This is the earlieast I can rember harvest time starting.

Hope we get a nice steady 1-1.5. Planted a fall plot 2 weeks ago and it is off to a good start. have had some timely showers another one today would be great.

Feel sorry for you over in Ill. Has been the case for two months. eastern Neb and Western Iowa get the lion's share and everyone east gets less and less. Glad it got to Ottumwa in decent shape, points east,,have my sympathy!

Oats and clover went in the ground on Sunday afternoon so the timing of this moisture couldn't be better :way::way:

Still raining here in the great NE. My brassicas are booming. Glad to see some of you other guys finally got some.
