Few plots fertilizelized,dug up,repacked and ready for brassicas in a couple weeks.

Clover, I planted this spring. Hardly a weed in it.
Couple perennial treestands shots. The one of the closer ladderstands in the big oak is RIGHT at the top or a steep riverbank. It sits between 2 bedding areas. Morning/ noon/ evening. Don't matter. Late oct_ mid November I cannot sit this stand without multiple bucks coming by on the trail. Yep, it's that good,
About 15 acres of secure bedding greatness.
Pumpkins not doing great this year. Mice dug up most of my seeds and had to replant.
This " trap" catches about 5 per night average.

the pringles can with PB is great!!!!
Dang does most the rest look really good!!!!! U got some great soils & diversity up there!!! Looks like Iowa. Some friends way N have a tough time up there… rough soils & not vegetation & tree diversity like that. Looks fantastic!!!!

15 years I've spent manipulating this ground. True labor of Love.
I wish I would have taken better care of the Buckthorn/ prickly ash years ago.
However, the deer love bedding in it.

Any tips/tricks on the spring planted clover? Man that is incredible. I was going to plant this spring but decided to wait for fall because I always hear more success stories with fall plantings. This has me wishing I would've just done it. Will be nice (for you) to actually have a decent amount of growth that first year for hunting.

Mini, I've been planting clover plots for about 15 years and have always frost seeded. We have very rich soil here so that helps.
They usually always do real well but they seem to do best in small plots that are not in full sun all day.
