Rattling

Will rattling work this time of year for bucks? I heard some people say they have seen some bucks fighting.

Can't hurt to throw out a few lower key rattling sequences. It's probably just like rattling during the rut. For it to work, you have to have a buck that hears you for one and more importantly, a buck that's interested in investigating what's going on 15 feet up in a tree. ha, ha

Hey, Blaster just thought I would let you know that when I took my deer down to the taxi last night I was talking to the boys from Hunter Specialties that were here hunting and they said that the hunting had been slow but they had rattled in six scrub bucks in the last three days. Probably out of curiousity more than anything. However they did come into muzzleloader range they said.

Blaster,
All of the reading that I have done on rattling suggests that this can be a productive time of the year for it. Bucks are attempting to establish their bachelor groups and contact grunts and light rattling lets them know where eachother are.
A potential problem right now is that I shot a buck that had all ready shed
