A friend of mine has a pet whitetail, 5 years old this year. When he's in hard horn he has to be penned because he get's to be a down right pure mean SOB.
When his antlers drop, he's like a lamb, plays in the yard, would probably come inside the house.

I have no doubt he would seriously injury somebody if he was out of the pen this time of year.

I didn't know what Rudd's Hippie filter was until the site actually opened. Now I know.

Only a matter of time until one of these "pets" gets all full of testosterone and goes postal. I have a friend who raises whitetails. When he first got them, I visited during the summer and he and his kids were petting the buck through the fence. I winced and cautioned about it, but it fell on deaf ears. Sure enough, come fall he got his arm pinned against the fence and luckily only recieved minor cuts.

They may be hippies but at least they respect the animal. Too bad Iowa yuppies don't show respect for nature when they build in the country. They fail to see how they are infringing upon nature.
