Hey all,
I have currently 4 Cuddeback's and 1 Leaf River.
The Leaf River and my old style cuddebacks are GREAT on batterys. My new 2.0 and 3.0 cuddebacks are terrible on batteries. I bet I get 3x the battery life out of my old 3.0 than my new 2.0. If I have to start buying 12 batteries a month from June to Jan. that is going to get expensive specially when I need them RIGHT NOW and I have to buy them at a gas station for $4.50 for 2.
All my cameras use 4D batteries.
I was thinking about getting a bunch of recharables for next season. I have came up with a new procedure for checking/moving(non-rut) my cameras. Hang camera leave for 2weeks and pull camera from area completely. If a nice buck hasnt walked by it in 2weeks he probably wont.
Just wondering if anyone had any experience with rechargable batteries in cameras, and in below freezing weather aswell.
Thanks.
Dean
