All these great pics have me really wanting a trail cam. However I don't want to spend a pile of loot. I'd likely only use it from Mid Oct until the sheds fall. I fear a summer cam may become bear bait!! Any ideas on a good one that won't break the bank. You guys just have too many good photos, I love them!!

I would have Vman or Shredder build you one of the Sony 4.1 digitals.

Second would be the Cuddeback 3.0 digital.

Kaare, I hated trail cams until Vman built mine. They are awesome. It actually makes it fun when they work.
 
I've been doing some snooping, now I really hate to spend a bunch of $$ if they won't work when the temp goes down in the -25 range. That's basically all winter for me. Now I really can't justify $400.

I've had good luck with the Moultrie $99 digital camera that you can buy at Wal-mart? Likes to eat batteries though.
