What do you all think of the recon trail cams? Is there any advantage between the 3 and the four mega pixal other than blowing up the picture for beter quality.
 
I was hoping someone did because I was curious as to how they performed also. You can see a review of them on chasinggame.com I think that is the right page.

[/ QUOTE ] I bought 2 Recon Talon 3.0 I had them out for three nights got 6 pictures on each one and to be completely honest with you I couldnt tell what I was looking at. The quality was horrible and I would not recommend them to anyone. I had mine on ebay less than 5 days after I bought them.
 
I use one Talon, probably 3 years old.

Likes: IR flash, good battery life, good B&W pics, good info on pics(location temp, date, time etc.), easy to set-up and use, uses CF memory cards.

Dislikes: not really quick triggering=use bait to stop them, it has been back for repairs twice-first time warrantied-2nd time for a battery tray-$60+-ouch!!

I know the newer ones are quicker, if you can get them at a decent price, I think they are alright.
