Looking to find a new release. I shoot 3d all summer and hunt everyday possible during the season so durability is a must. I want something that works good for both. Any ideas or opinions.

Love my TRU BALL Boss X. Very solid release! The Pro Diamond Xtreme is a great release as well if you don't prefer the clicker.

I didn't shoot well with several releases so make sure you try some out. I ended up shooting the best with a tru-fire hurricane glove but that's me.

I shoot a scott right now and its alright, my brother shoots a carter which i really like an will be switching to next year

Has anyone tried or heard anything about the longhorn hex release. I like the fact its on a wrist strap

I'm shooting the Longhorn Hex. I really like it. I also have the Longhorn Hunter and I like it just as well. I have hunted with both and have had no problems using them in hunting situations.

Anyone ever try the RipShot release system? I have it and absolutely love it. I switched to this kind of release because I was having problems with tennis elbow. Not only did this relieve the pain, but it also tightened up my groups because it forces you to draw and hold back with the correct muscles. I also like that you can have your trigger hand free even when the bow is drawn. Check it out:

i shoot a scott shark. its got a buckle for the wrist strap. thats one thing i would recommend, if you get a wrist strap release. you don't want that loud velcro noise going off in the timber if you need to make an adjustment.

I shoot the Scott Little Bitty Goose with the rope connector and absolutely love it. Very smooth trigger pull and I can tuck it up under my sleeve cuff when doing stalks or still hunting. It pops right out when I need it.

Think about trying the Scott longhorn hex. I've never used a back pressure release and heard its a good one to start with. They make me nervous.
