hey ya'll, remember this brute? i know kat has to, cause she was mesmerised by this beast. back when i posted this buck on here i had a few pm's wanting to know the story on it. i didn't know anything at the time, other than it was killed here in ohio, it scored 231 B&C NT, and that most of that score with the exception of, i think 22 inches(not sure though), was typical points. so without the NT points he would have scored 209 typical B&C. this deer still stuck out like a soar thumb even with all the other 500 monsters on the wall. amazing deer.

anyways the story is in the nov.2004 issue of NAW, the story is called "Last Chance For An Ohio GHOST". just thought ya'll might be interested in the story. it's pretty good reading, here is the pic again that i took at our state deer and turkey expo.

I read the story about that buck this week in North American Whitetail Magazine. Glad to see someone with so much persistance make it pay off in the end. That is a buck of a lifetime!
