Just thought I'd mention to those attending the Rendezvous at Chase The Adventure that there is another Rendezvous that weekend. The annual Rendezvous in Praire Du Chien, Wi. is also happening that weekend. If you're interested in the buckskinners and trappers this is a good one. They have competitions in shooting, hawk throwing and I believe bullwhips and knife throwing. Might be something some of you would like. Prairie is roughly 45 min from the Lodge and while you're there there's always Cabelas. If you're interested check out www.prairieduchien.org for more info.

one other event going on that weekend too is a motorcycle rally in spillville. about 7 miles away. last year they had about 2000 bikes.

Hey thanks for the plug about Praire Du Chein. There will also be a primative bow shoot either Friday or Saturday afternoon. I will be there setup under a couple of huge shade trees whittling on bows. Just look for a rack with bows and a sign that says Salt Creek Bows. Stop and say hello if you get through.
