Response time on a stealth cam?

I've read a few posts prior to putting it out for the first time, so I don't think it was the sun. I also have a twilight and a night time pic with nothing but corn. I'm guessing deer passing through and a slow response time? Maybe deer in the corn but I analyzed most of the photos and couldn't pic up anything out of the ordinary in them. I think I have there route figured out, so I will move it a bit to try to catch more of a quartering shot instead of broadside, maybe if it is slow response this would help. Any other suggestions or ideas. I did get a few deer in the pics, soon as I break out the scanner I will post a photo or two, nothing great for this year but one with nice potential.

Probably response time. Could have been a deer running past your camera. Not sure what the response time is with the stealths, you may want to check it out yourself.

Thanks Vman, I was hoping I was making a "good" assumption and not just making an arse out of myself, lol. I checked the test mode and couldn't get it to pick me up in the corn rows. I'll try an adjustment in the positioning, thanks again. Hopefully I can set aside enough and get a Vcam, only one time out, one roll, only three deer and I'm already addicted!!!

I just started using a Stealth Cam myself, somewhat same results. I have one pic of a deer in full flight which is great, but I've also got one with only a nose showing from the side of the pic. I'm thinking the response time should be slower, haven't looked yet, hope this is adjustable.

Just gave em a call. The response time is 5 seconds, about the same with all of their products, according to tech support. Also claimed that corn, which I have mine aiming at, does have a different atmospheric temp, so movement and corn could trigger it, not sure there.

5 sec! Wow holy crap thats slow.
The new camera im working on is under 3 and i thought that was SLOW.

Hope to see some of your pics soon.
