Won't go wrong with a Ripcord. All I use anymore. QD was more finicky for me but nearly everybody likes both. Can't go wrong either way really. RC customer service is incredible as well.

Its a good rest, but one thing I don't like is that when you let down your draw the rest drops. On the other hand I don't no if other rest do the same

I'VE HAD A RIPCORD FOR OVER 4 YRS. ON MY BOW HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM EXCEPT FOR AN OCCASIONAL SQUEAK ON THE DRAW BACK I'M SIMPLY GOING TO ADD THE RED TO SOLVE THAT:drink1:

The QAD stays up on a let down. That's why I chose it over the rip cord

Mobile Cooter using IW

With the QAD if you let down and the rest stays up, how to you let the rest down if you want to quiver your arrow, is there a button or switch?

Had a QAD, switched as I had a lot of issues with it. Being shooting the Code Red since it came out, it will take a major change for me to switch, great rest.

I just bought a QAD HDX yesterday. Havnt put to many arrows through it yet. Going to tune the bullheads in this weekend:way:

What issues did you have?

-}}}---------->

The main issue is that the lockdown did not work correctly and the bounce back ended up giving me fits with flectching contact. We were able to run a high speed camera from work to actually prove the lock down was not working and see the bounce back. It took me a long time to figure that out, figured I just had some major tuning to do until I read other comments about the lock down.

Anyhow, left I am sure it was a fluke that could happen with any rest, just left a bad taste in my mouth.
