So somehow Google uploaded a half dozen random apps onto my phone and I can't figure out how to get rid of them. This happen to anyone else in the past week? Short of hitting the cell store how do I get them off the phone?
 
No it doesn't, was the first thing I tried. Even updated and when I updated it all I could do was uninstall the update, the apps are still there.
 
I haven't had that problem.

I would try to go into settings then manage applications and try to force stop or uninstall there. Maybe that's what you tried already???? Other wise I have no clue.

when i go to the market and hit "my apps" that's the first place i found them. then went into "settings" and hit "applications" and found them there too. kids are waking up, tomorrow i'm going to the cell store and asking the people there. they seem to be able to get stuff fixed right away... usually.
 
There are a bunch of retarded apps on my phone there by default that I never use and I went to us cellular to see if they could remove them to free up memory on my phone and they said there was nothing they could do.. sounds like u may have something like that going on.. I could delete the updates on them also like you said but there is no option for the whole thing

I have some of those apps but they don't show up in the market under my apps.

I can go to seetings then applications then manage applications and see them there. I have the option to force stop on them but not uninstall.

Try pressing and holding down on the app until a box appears that should give you the option to delete it I believe?
