Rumor control

I heard a story this AM from a guy at work who claims that there is a special doe only tag for several counties in SE Iowa, You can get as many tags as you want but the catch is you have to give the carcass/meat to the State to use as venison in the prisons. Sounds kinda "out there" to me, but an idea that may be worth debate. Anybody else heard this rumor? Or is it just another urban legend?

Bonker,

It's not a rumor. The legislature passed a bill this session that provides for that. However, I don't think it would take affect until next season. Maybe someone else out there knows more details.
