Rut Over?

I was wondering if the rut is over. What are your guys' thoughts?

I think most of the does are not In estrous but, I think the bucks are looking for that last doe.

I agree with beararchery. Last couple times I've been out, I've still seen bucks searching.

Saw some pushing does around last night but most were just eating right with the group.

I saw a 160 10 pt 5 yr old that I know well pushing 2 young does today

A couple days ago I was thinking the bucks were relaxing a bit but today and last night, every mature buck I saw was stuck to a doe. I cant hardly remember another year where most of the older bucks were pinned down with does over such a long span, oct 27th it seemed to start, till now.A nice change from the last 2 years. And now the doe fawns from this year are starting to come in.Big difference I see now is no snow in the forcast for shotgun season. Usually always have the first sticking snow for 1st shotgun. Hopefully it helps the old bucks slip out of the drives. Usually I cant wait untill the first good snow but after the last couple winters, I will be happy with what we have now as long as possible.
