Safety harness question

How do most of you attach to the tree? I wear a hunter safety system vest with the Lone Wolf rope around the tree, but the rope is too short to fit all of the trees I hunt from. Does Lone Wolf make a longer version or does anyone have a better way? Anyone tried the Fallguy system yet? Thanks

I have a Seat of the Pants system and have had no problems with any tree. I also have a 20 ft extra harness rope I can leave in the tree and tie in as im going up and down if im using the same stand for awhile.

Have hunted in some huge oaks and never had a problem tieing in

I have gathered enough safety belts from buying treestands over the years, I simply grabbed the piece off one of them that hooks to the tree, and hooked it to my other one so it is twice is long. It seems to work fine. If you don't have another one I don't know what advice to offer you.

I did the same thing, works fine.

I'm having a problem getting the strap around the bigger trees too. I have a long enough strap but the tree is to big to reach around and it is really hard to swing the strap around and catch it on the other side. How do you guys do it?
