Safety lines in tree stands

I am going to add safety lines for climbing up and down the ladder sticks for all of my stands this weekend. I can clearly envision how to make them and attach them for all of my regular hang-on stands. But is there a way to do this for ladder stands?

Has anyone added this type of safety system to a ladder stand? If so, how?

Maybe try tying the bottom end off on the bottom of the ladder so the rope will be within reach to slide the prusik on the way up.. youll swing more if you fall, but itd still be better than falling to the ground
