Salt Lick Fawn

I think this little fawn is addicted to salt!

Looks like the fawns in your area are earlier than here. Most does are just dropping now or about too here. Yesterday I was checking a camera. An old mangy coyote I have been trying to kill was in the clover field with 2 does trying to run him off. He went in the trees but 5 minutes later he caught a fawn and it was crying worse than any coyote call as I chased him over the hill. Cleaned my freezer out this morning, he will be dead within the week.

Ya, I have to think the coyotes look forward to this time of year as much as we do the rut.. Looking forward to that yote harvest photo!!!
