The annual migration of over 500,000 is in full swing in Central Nebraska. Went out this morning with the wife for a drive to see a few. Here's a few pics I thought I'd share.

pretty awesome..... not much can compare to the migration of snows or Sandhills.

Great stuff

I'm curious.....those calling them Sky Carp or worse, tell me about your experience eating them. I never have since we can't hunt them here.
Carp tastes great if you can get rid of the bones.:way:

I know. That is why I asked the question. I remember your old death trap substandardsuburban and the bumper sticker about cranes. That was a fun road trip.

:D:D:DThat truck was quite the unit! :way:

I'd forgotten about the flying carp bumper sticker. I'm amazed your memory is that good considering you were worried your wife had hired me to bury your bones in the Nebraska woods! :)

Darn you Shovel. I had paid a shrink a lot of money to help me repress that part of my memory. That picture just brought it all flooding back. Is that story in PMA somwhere?

And if by "Unit" you mean "Death unit" you would be right. Would it have killed you to put a screw in the pin hole leak in the gas tank? I was afarid that somebody would flick a cigarette butt out their window onto our trail of gas and roast us both.

Quit your whining:D I had a fresh piece of cardboard down under the floor mat so your feet wouldn't fall through. The ever so slight gas leak was for finding our way home.:D

I can't remember if your post about the trip is in the PMA or whitetail conference. That's your mission for the day. Find it and bring it to the top. It's a great story.:way:

I searched for the thread Bonker, all I found was when you got the forge running. I suspect your trip back here thread has been lost in the upgrades.:(
