here's how we do it. get a bunch of hunters, and shoot alot of deer. cut out loins, and maybe take a few roasts to the slicer. take all remainig deer and grind. take one large hog, and shoot in face. gut, skin (etc.) grind. go to fareway, or your local meat counter, and ask for a bag of their breakfast sausage seasoning. it makes 50lbs. i think we mix 40lbs. deer and 10 pork....it may be 30-20. mix in a large tub, run through grinder again, with stuffer tube, and stuff into bags.
this stuff is great. makes a good sandwich, great for breakfast, mix with shredded cheese and chopped onions and grill, excellent!!
