SBE II Turkey Choke/Load Help

Admittedly, I'm a card carrying member of the "instant gratification" generation, so I'm looking for some help to cut down trial and error in finding a decent load/choke combo for my new Benelli SBE 2 for distance shots (45-50 yards).

I'd like to shoot HeviShot, but I'm open to every suggestion. I know each gun will be different, but what has worked for you?

Google searches turned up Indian Creek chokes a lot...tough to filter through the BS out there.

Thanks in advance!

Winhester 6's and a kicks gobbling thunder .665

Good to 60 and that is with just regular lead.

I have an Indian Creek super full choke in my SBE II and it hits like Thors hammer out to 65 yards with #5 HeviShot. Haven't shot at anything past that though.

To be honest I would say the shooter himself is more valuable than the choke and shell you shoot. No need for an extented choke tube if you still have your original chokes. A simple full choke will do. If you are looking for one I have had zero problems with a cheap HS Strut Undertaker. I did however break down and buy the new 3.5" heavy shot Magnum blend. Bit pricey at 30.00 bucks for 5 however , I shot a bird 2nd season at 65 yds, dead. The shells are flat out dangerous at long distances.

Pure Gold .665 with Nitro company straight 7's :way: Honestly, Kicks, Pure Gold, Indian Creek, Patternmaster, all make great chokes. Check out a couple of the shotgun patterning forums and there will be plenty of good combos. :way:
