Scott's Outdoors in Muscatine closing their doors

Those of you who live near Muscatine are probably familiar with Scott's Outdoors. It's about the only trust worthy place in the area anymore to get a big selection of baits and tackle. They will be closing their doors on December 31st. I asked them a week ago or so if they will be having a special sale and they didn't know yet... Anywho... This kinda sucks, but, I suppose take advantage of some possible "cheaper" gear if you can.

I was shocked to hear it too. I've been buying hunting and fishing supplies from Scott for at least 25 years. I don't know where we will be getting minnows after that. There is a little gas station in town here just down the street from me that sometimes sells them but i wouldn't trust him to have them all the time. Wapello would be the next closest.

They told me 20% off hunting and fishing supplies, and 10% off shells.

What the heck???? I thought they had a good running business over there. That really sucks. That was a great "one stop" store for any sportsman and Scott was always great to talk hunting or fishing with.
