I went out for a little drive last night to look for deer. I know it’s probably a little early to for this but I love to drive and look for deer. Well anyways I was north of Des Monies where I hunt just going down the gravel and when I came around the corner I seen a nice eight pointer at about 35 yards. Continuing down the road I had seen a total of 63 deer. There lost count of how many buck I seen but I would say at lest half. There were all within 100 yards of the road. There were twelve bucks that were at least already 10 pointers and twelve pointers. The rest of the buck weren’t anything special. The 10 and 12 pointers were least 150 inches or better depending on there mass, but by the looks all twelve deer I would have taken shots at. I have never seen this many mature buck in one area. Looks like this may make an interesting fall. I tried to take picture with my digital camera but they were too far out. I also tried to take the camera and hold it up to my binos and that wasn’t working the best. I have tried this in the past when they were 50 yards out and it works okay.

I saw over 50 deer tonight. I saw a buck the 1st week of June that was out WAY past his ears already, and saw him again last Sunday night in the same spot. So I finally wised up and brought my camera tonight but he was a no show. Hopefully I will get some pics soon. He is a true monster...unfortunately he is nowhere near anywhere I can hunt. I pulled in the driveway of the landowner's house last week to try and get access. I saw a block 4x4 and a 3D target out on the side of the garage and decided not to waste my time
