Scrapes and rubs!

When I was hanging my treestand today I noticed a 3 inch tree torn to shreds and a huge scrape right next to it. Now I am assuming the rubs were maybe from the buck getting rid of velvet but I was very excited to see that scrapes were starting so early. Last time I saw scrapes this early it was by a huge dominant buck that when he finally got shot on Oct. 23 he had been busted up pretty good for a while both in rack and body. I love those crazy aggressive bucks, they're the Ultimate fighters of the woods. I hope he continues this aggressive nature when he is next to the treestand I just hung.

Anyone else noticing any scrapes or rubs?

I set a trail cam on a water hole in a creek that is mostly dried up. While walking away, I noticed a blowdown laying in the creekbed that had a limb that had been rubbed fairly recently. No scrapes yet that I've noticed.

Theres a tree in one of my spots that has been getting rubbed every year for at least 6 years. Its a big tree, 15" through center. Its the only "signpost rub" Ive ever found. I noticed on wednesday that its getting use again. The anticipation is making my spine tingle
