Screen question

I received a late green light to plant on 2nd farm. Due to the late notice I have no screening planted. The large field has road views. Wondering if there’s anything that could grow enough to give a cushion for deer to feel safe between now and first frost which is usually around October 20?

I have some vitalize nitroboost left over, also have some green cover screen blend left over.

Plot screen like that offered by Northwood whitetails I have planted late July in the past here in extreme NE Iowa in Allamakee County and it has gotten nearly 10 ft tall on fertile soil by fall hunting season, so I'd think if you got something similar planted ASAP & received timely rain it wouldn't be out of question to have a 6+ feet tall screen by fall hunting season.

It's getting late. With good soil, some N, and rain it could get 4-7ft. I'd plant a wider than usual strip of it. No doubt of all the annual screens out there, most are junk, but the HD from John is definitely the best
