ALright question for anyone! I am taking a trip to Florida for school and we leave April 18-23 and i have prom the 28 that kind of screws up my 3rd season which is a weekend we usually stay at a cabin and hunt. What season are most succesful for you? I am also considering taking my bow. Any advice would be great THANKS!

I have great luck in every season. I don't honestly think it really matters. Alot of gun hunters go out one season and they have nothing else to compare it to except 4th season, but when you bowhunt all seasons you realize, anyday out there can be good.

I agree, at times they can be henned up for a few days but it's usually day by day. I've had gobblers henned up one day and the next fly down and sprint in.

Any day in the field with a gun or bow is a good day to hunt turkeys. Heck, get a bow tag so you can hunt all 4 seasons.
Gobblers act differently from day to day throughout all of the seasons.
Don't worry about what season is the "best"....all of them are killing times, just hunt when you can.

Yeah thats the way i was leanin i am just rather inexperienced i guess you could say. I haved my dad drag me around for the 6 years of my life. So yeah i love hunting with him but i like to see if i could do it on my own. I think i will certainly need some time so all four seasons will be good. Thanks

Yeah i agree, Ill probably go with the archery all four seasons will be nice. It will be good to just be in the woods again let along a kill or anything of that sort.
