I got this pic off a cam today and was wondering what some of you would guess his age is. I cant really judge his rack from this shot, but I dont think Ive ever seen this one before.

He is a nice looking buck, I would guess him to be a 3.5 year old.

My guess was 3 yr as well, Im curious,what do you look to 1st when aging a deer.
I was guessing 3 yr mainly cause his body is to large for a 2 yr, but his back seems straight and he has no sag in the belly. The thing is, I have pics of deer I know to be in the 5 yr range that have very similar builds to this one.I know some deer will get a gray and sort of saggy hide after a while, but then again, I have seen many that do not. I guess my question is how are some of you judging age?
