SF 2134 using dogs to track wounded deer

That being said...since it includes both an "on leash" provision and a stipulation that the searcher must receive permission to follow a deer on private property...I would wholeheartedly support it.

Thanks for the correction. I've gone through about 900 pages of proposed legislation in the past few days all while prepping for the IBA Spring banquet. Lets hope I do a better job at the banquet than I did on this post.

This bill seems to come up every year for the last 2 or 3 years and never makes it very far. To me the biggest thing I have against it is the $25 fine for not following the law. Might as well have no law at all if it is only $25 - Make it $250 and I would be far more likely to support it. We have lots of troubles with Dogs and Tresspassing in my neighborhood already - I'd only guess this would make it worse. On a side note, just all the more reason to support the new Trespassing Bill with higher fines.
