I do the same thing when using Slick Tricks. For cut on contact heads, I like the G5 dual grit stone followed by a leather strop. For all other heads, it's hit and miss for me. You can buy the adjustable angle stones but I've not shot enough of these type to warrant the purchase. Otherwise hand sharpen or use the carbide type sharpeners perhaps.
