Shed Dog

Im getting a dog this spring but can't decide for sure on which kid of dog to get. I've always had a lab but I want to try another breed. I'm going to try to train the dog for shed hunting. I have small kids so it needs to be good with kids. If anyone has any ideas Id like to hear them. Has anyone heard of a Bavarian Mountian Hound? I've done some research, they have an excellent nose and there supposed to be great family dogs. I think Id really like to see some in person. Has anyone ever seen one or know anyone with this breed of dog?

naw had article on she dogs and that guy used yellow and a black lab

It is hard to beat a good Lab I would stick with what you know, in my opinion they are the best all around dogs

Are there other dogs besides labs????

Labs are the only way to go!!!!
