My friends the 2007 Shed Gathering is getting close. It was a big success last year and will likely be a much bigger event this year. We hope to see all of you there.
As many of you are aware we are selling tickets for several wonderful prizes that have been donated. The purpose of the ticket sales is to help the Make a Wish Foundation. A worthy cause that helps those less fortunate in life.
With an iowawhitetail member base of 7,586 registered users one can only imagine how much we could donate to the Make a Wish Foundation if everyone purchased just one ticket.
When was the last time you helped some in need? Can you imagine the positive publicity, a bunch of deer hunters donating to Make a Wish Foundation. Can you imagine how good it will make you feel knowing that you may have made a difference in someone’s day or perhaps the rest of their life. Win a custom built Osage Longbow, built by Joe Studer, better known as Matchedset. And a half a dozen wooden arrows with field points to match the bow donated by Shovelbuck.
Win a Knight .45 caliber muzzleloader donated by the winner of last years bow, Mr. Hochstetler.
