It's probly nasty right, Ive always soaked it in water for a few days to really soften up the hide and all. Then stick ear plugs in your nose and go to town on it. Kats post of Nose Job also has a few helpful hints on the mounting..

Soak it in water and get it good and thawed. Then start hacking using a good sharp knife with a 3-4 inch blade and a screwdriver for prying. If you want to bleach and boil the skull go to simpsontaxidermy.com and there will be all the instrutions and supplys you will need. A good place to buy these supplies is through vandykes taxidermy supply. Most of the stuff comes in bulk but you'll have it for the next time. The last order I made covered 4 deer skulls and a bear skull and I probably could do that many again with what I have left. Thier sight also has neet plaques to mount the finished product on. Good luck!!!!

P.S. If you have a wife don't boil a skull in your house
