I have zero idea, I studied fish in college, not reptiles! Guesstimate? 10 - 15 years old and I would also say he would go near 40 pounds.

That's pretty sweet. I caught one in a live trap a few years back while I was trapping coon by a pond. He wasn't a happy camper to say the least....and I had quite the time getting him outta there.
