Shoot and Release???

Just curious what some of you think about a hunting show I saw recently. It was a ranch where you can hunt trophy whitetails with a dart gun! The clients pay a fee to hunt and shoot a monster buck with a tranquilizer gun, then pose for photos and measure the rack. Then, the deer wakes up and runs off! It's the strangest thing I've ever seen. Is this type of hunting legal? I would think it would put alot of stress on a deer.

Much of that business and I would think those bucks would become strung out junkies. Never heard of that before.

They do that in Africa with Rhino's. You can either dart them or paintball em.
