Shooter?

Well I have been getting a ton of pictures of NICE young bucks. But have been feeling like most of them are 2.5 to 3.5 yrs old. This guy is looking a little older and appears to possibly be on the downhill side of his rack! I know it still is in velvet but he appears to be somewhat massive!

So I am thinking this guy may be a shooter! Any opinions? I am somewhat new to seeing a lot of bucks and really new to deciding which ones should or should not be shot! Any score estimates on this fella!!

Man, He does have some mass on him. Hard to judge size with just a side view like that.

Really, no one can dictate what is a shooter buck for you except for you.

It all depends on your goals for the season and what caliber of animals you have running around your area.

Definitely a nice buck, but nobody can tell you what looks good hanging on your wall. If nothing else, he's pretty photogenic. I know what I'd do if I a chance to shoot him. That is ... if I could hold my bow still. Those are some good pics. Good luck
