shot down for the 2nd year

DOUBLE LUNG

Well the other week I found out that I will not be muzzleloader hunting for mule deer in colorado again. Has anyone else had luck or no luck in out of state drawings. Hopefully next year I will be able to bust up one of those monster muley's that I saw the last 2 year that I would bow hunt for elk down there.

I'm in the draw for a non-resident permit to hunt antelope in Wyoming. As a first-time applicant, I'm not expecting to get drawn. It'll probably take me several years and many preference points to have a real chance, but you gotta keep applying to get those points!

Changing from MT to CO for our fall elk hunt. Applied for an early season smoke pole tag but was denied. Talked to the DNR out there and they guy said that for the area i want to hunt i need at least 9 preferance points so 1 down 8 more years to go. up side is that i can still go out with my .300 and get an over the counter tag.

Gee... I thought Iowa was the only place non resi couldn't draw a tag.

I've been applying in Az.for 6 yrs and still no elk tag.
Tough luck Double Lung, there's always next year.

waiting on NM ELK, MN moose, KS WT, IA WT. we will see my odds respectively 18%, 22%, 0%, and 18%. Not so good. Looks like lots of OTC tags this year. Might even have to hunt whitetails in MN this NOV

Hey DOR why wait for a MN moose tag when you can shoot a monster bull up here in AK, Non resident lisence is 85 dollers and a moose tag is 450. Why wait when you can have it now and bigger????
