HUSKERBUCK

Just got this picture back and I thought I would share it and a little story. All season I hunted around home. I did see a couple of 140 and 170 class bucks while bow hunting. My in-laws live about 18 mile away and I can hunt there anytime I want. The problem is that it is not the best area to deer hunt. Just a few trees and mostly fairly open pasture. OK for rifle hunting but not the best for bow hunting. Anyway, the neighbor shot this buck on there this past season. My wife took the pictures because she kinda wanted to rub it into me. I saw the rack at the taxidermist. He said it grossed around 180. The rack is kinda cool to look at. If you look at it from the top looking down the main beams are fairly wide. There is two distinct rows of tines on each main beam. I think it is a 8x9 if I remember right. This is the first deer that the neighbor has ever shot, go figure. Just thought I would share this, hope this works.
