Shovelbuck... it's a bet!

Not sure what we're betting but since my new Tribute won't be in for awhile I'm taking the Groves for the first few weeks of turkey season. First one to ground a bird with the recurve gets bragging rights I guess! Got the cedar arrows out, retipped them with some Zwickey's and am ready to roll!

Any bets on who'll tag out first? Should be a fun little bet!

You must of seen my other post about missing one last Sat.

How about a pic of your set up?

Managed to snake back to the parental units house Shovel, only to find out that the Groves I wanted to use had been "lent out" for turkey season. I was not happy. I picked up the Groves Spitfire takedown and shot it a bit but wasn't overly happy how it fit in the blind. I looked over my Dad's recurve collection (upwards of 30) and decided his short Browning Nomad Stalker would work much better. Ripped a few shots and brought it home. Shooting a 28 inch draw @ 50 pounds. Have some old cedar shafts tipped with 135 grain Zwickey's, should do the trick! If a puffball comes within 15 yards he "should" be in trouble, good luck Jay!
