So, the .308's I ordered still aren't in. One, some may not have heard of, is bad arse!!!! It's a LMT, by far one of the best I've seen. Then I ordered a Rock River, which I'm excited about. Both are not here and JUST IN CASE, I thought- maybe I'll buy one now that I can find. I found some Sig 716 AR's. .308 of course, has the piston element as opposed to all gas (whatever, not needing a huge reliability debate here). Looks & reads as though it's a great gun BUT, I dunno- anyone have any opinions or experience???? Where's the best place I can actually find one. For example, I can find them all day on gunsamerica or maybe it was gunbroker - for about $2,000. Here's Sig website with details....

It looks like before things got crazy, $1700 was the norm. $1500-1700 on armslist.com but are those people crooks that are advertising on there??? Is the above $2k place going to be the only place to buy at that price OR is there a cheaper and more reliable, anyone know? Bigger ?- any reason I wouldn't want to get this rascal? THX!
(Gonna have my Nikon .308 scope on it and gonna eventually blast some KS deer with it).
*Another good one I was considering for a "higher end" .308 AR - the Black Rain. What you think there? Better than this Sig? Better question- think it's better than an LMT??? LMT is pretty nice!!! Or even some higher level AR's than even those BUT I'm at medium to high-point between: Sig, LMT & Black Rain.
