Sight Pin brightness

I have a Trophy Ridge Matrix 3 pin. The top pin is the yellow color. I can see green better and it seems brighter to me. Any ideas on how to make a better setup. Already have the sight light. Limb's post made me question. I have been looking for a top green pin, but only find replacement pins in 3 packs. THANKS

Call Trophy Ridge, send it in, have them replace the pins out to what you want. Their customer service is phenomenal. If you need to borrow one with a green top pin, you need only ask.

Remember that sight my dad had that was busted to hell? He sent it to them, they fixed it and replaced the pins out to what he wanted. Free of charge.

They are awesome to work with, ask about getting the metal pins put in also!!! Call and ask for Shawna or Wendy! 1-406-388-7781.

I have the same problem with my yellow pin. I have a 5 pin so i just dropped it behind my green and now i have a 4 pin. I'll have to give them a call too!
Thanks Guys!

That sounds good, but will have to wait until Turkey tags are filled. I didn't realize they would do that. Figured I just needed to get 1 more pin to put in. THANKS!!!

Just got off the phone with Trophy Ridge a little bit ago......definately some great cutomer service gals to talk to. As soon as turkey season is over I'm sending my 3 pin in and replacing them with 5 metal pins, all for the tune of 30 bucks. Very reasonalble in my opinion considering all new fiber optic lines are added.
I didn't specify pin size.......does anyone know if I needed to?
CRITR

I would probably make mention of it CRITR. Personally I hate the small pins, can't see 'em at all.

I also have a 3 pin on my bow, I want to put the five pin set up on.

Great info guys, thank you.

Just remembered to call Trophy Ridge today. They said the cheapiest and easiest route to go was to order new fiber optics for the sight. You have to cut the old fiber off and then put the new one in and heat up the ends. They said it is really easy. New fiber runs $2 a piece. I will let you know how it goes as soon as I get the fiber optics.

Well I have received the fiber and installed it this weekend. It wasn't too bad to do. It made a big difference for me. This new fiber seems brighter - maybe because it hasn't weathered. One note if anybody else tries this - do not heat up the end too much else you will be getting a pin larger than .29. I would recommend placing the old fiber back in and burning the end in the sight pin for practice. Then remove it before installing your final piece. Good luck to anybody else.

You're right about that! The first one I did ended up about the size of a dime. I had a bit too much end out there to melt.

Do overs...Do overs.

Did you give up on that fiber or did you file/sand it off and remelt? I was thining about tempting that on mine. I have just a hint of blackness from the burn that I wanted to sand off too. Thought maybe it would work and since I have not tried it yet I thought I would ask.
