My hat is really off to you guys and gals out there that have successfully harvested a bird with a bow.

Shooting one with a gun is tough but bring a bow into the equation and it is a challenge. After hunting five hot days Wed. - Sun last week from dawn to dusk I missed my first one. I was actually shaking because I did not want to blow my one chance. O well there is always next year. It definitely is a challenge. Congrats to everyone that has harvested one this year.

I agree 100%. I was one of the lucky ones. Took me three years to get one with a bow and this year was looking mighty grim there for awhile. Congrats to everyone also...

Congrats to you on your bird.
I swung thru Waukon yesterday and just about stopped in. The birds stayed in the field a little to long and I had to see Mamma on her day off.
Hence did a pass by.

I second that. This is my third year hunting birds and my first year with a bow. And I thought gun hunting them was tough! Atleast you got a shot at one. I have yet to draw on one.
As risto said congrats to everyone who has taken a bird this year with a gun or a bow.
