Skip's farming

Had the pleasure to help Skip out this spring while he was getting crops in the ground and trees planted. I'll just let you all know the picture below is how he likes to plant beans. (Not actually Skip)

I believe that would make me say bad words.

Dude... I buried a 5115 M with a 1518 batwing attached last summer, mowing willows. Got cocky. But that stuck blows mine out of the water! Could at least see the tops of my front tires.

If we're really nitpicking accuracy.... I think my tractor was about 2' deeper in the mud with pretty dang big from tires with MFWD (4x4) and a loader and that still didn't getter out. Probably 5000 more lbs + another 5-10k lbs with a sprayer on the back. Ya, pretty dang big Excavator had to pull that one out and the excavator almost got stuck. I can go from "not a happy camper" to laughing about it now. Good times! :) The field where this happened was just submitted for the "wetland CRP Program" as I had enough of dealing with that hole out there that I still don't know how I'm going to smooth out after that.

Surprised this happened since Skip moves so slow. He drives under the speed limit and is usually not in a hurry!

This is actually after it got pulled out. I wish I had the pic of it actually buried. 30 yards away you can drive no problem, get into a 100 square foot area, sink to China.
