Slime in Tractor Tires

Looking for 1st hand experience here....

Has anyone ran slime in larger tractor tires without tubes before?

Getting slow small leaks in the fronts (bean stubble, locust thorns,etc....)and thinking about sliming them....(the fronts)

Any objections?


I take this thing places most farmers would not.

I believe skip had some info on this couple yrs ago? Something better than slime brand i believe!

I've had success on front tires. Like mentioned above, there may be a better brand.

Contemplated foam filling my fronts for years. Smaller than those tires tho

I have done that on some of my smaller tractors, Implements as well.

Would not do it on the big one As they ride rougher the hell.

I'd say OK on 75 horse or less For foam filled

I put a commercial grade slime in my front tires with good success. Can’t recall the brand but was highly recommended on forums. Had a flat in rear tire that has rim guard and cost me $280 to fix!!

Not slime, but I have successfully plugged punctures in front tractor tires 3 or 4 times now with the sticky, rubber plugs. They have held up fine for several years now, no slow leaks at all. FWIW.
