No Thomas, it doesn't always happen to you. That being said, the one in the second pic would definitely fill the freezer! Shortly after the fence was blown out by the cows it was bulldozed out for repair. Highly doubtful I'll hunt this area anytime soon.

Good fences make good neighbors

The neighbor and I are putting in all new fence to avoid those problems since they have cows both north and south of me and I have seedlings all over the farm so it is not a good mix.

The dozer work and fencing don't bother the deer as much as you think. I built fence with my dad for years and alot of times the fresh dozed paths were loaded with deer tracks.

I've noticed deer tracks but figured that they're mostly night time as they are working during the day.
