Some "New" Heads

With all the talk lately about broadheads, I thought I'd post some photos of a couple I mounted up this weekend on cane arrows.
Jasper sure is pretty stone.

The stone points average 300 grains for a total arrow weight of 875 grains.
Let's see....that's about 38 ft lbs. of energy at 140 FPS.
I've shat a couple of them and they go right where they are supposed to.
Don't know if I'll hunt with them or not, but they certainly would work, as they have for centuries.

You "shat" a couple of them? OUCH! That had to hurt!

They look great. I'd have to give'm a go. A selfbow and stone head whitetail kill is on my "life list". Just need the time to learn how to make both.

Pretty cool!!! Yea, I think they will work. I wouldn't want to stand in front of them and have you fire them at me.

Native Americans killed buffalo with slower setups. Great craftsmanship.

Just a click of the mouse on the "Buy it now" button.

I can knap my own gun flints and do basics like sharpen these. That's the end of my knaping skills.
