While walleye fishing yesterday my buddy and I got snagged in some standing timber, pulled in to get the snags out and saw a giant crappie. Decided to crappie fish, caught 3 biggest was 16”. Here’s a pic of it with a 20” walleye.

Congrats! Those are slab crappie. I need to fish more for both walleye and crappie.

Today was fun. Fished in one spot for 4 hours and caught fish the whole time. Most weren’t quite keepers, 12-14” walleyes. But we did manage 4 keepers and a nice perch. Two biggest walleyes were 23” and 24”.

Had to take some cover from horrible winds today. Fished a fairly sheltered lake and got into a mixed bag of walleye, northern, smallies, and crappie. The crappies were tanks again, 13-15”.
