Alright, so about a week ago this white A&M Green power Truck was checking out our neighbors ground when I was calling a Buck over and they were in full camo. Sure left that driveway quick when they saw me. (I know they don't have permission) Well, anywho they came in on someone elses property north of that one tonight, I don't think the have permission but they messed my hunt up big time tonight. Just watch out for this truck, maybe someone could get a plate # What I don't understand is why they're in a A&M Green power truck  They had a case in the back of there truck idk if it was a Bow or gun case. Any other ideas what they might be doing? They sure seemed like they were hunting.

maybe they were out performing duties related to their job and the case was a tool box. i bet in reality they had on camo to keep nosy people from bothering them while they work. quit worrying about others and learn to shoot before you hunt again

Ouch, and it wasn't a tool box...talked with the landowner and he doesn't have anyone other then family hunting it. He also said that nobody in a A&M Green Power truck or white truck was aloud on the property.

Edit: By the way, I can now shoot groups at 40 yards pretty well and I can take 30 yard shots. I got a new sight with a level and that helped me out a lot.

Relax, take it down a notch. I remember being young and full of questions at one point in my bow hunting career. Be patient, we don't get here overnight.

Teenagehunter, what is A&M, I'm not familiar with it? Is it possible that they were working? It does seem odd that they were in camo. Maybe someone else will have some input on the truck.

Just a suggestion though. Even when you can shoot a target at 40 yards consistantly, shooting at something with a heartbeat brings with it a whole new level of pressure and your shooting will no doubt fall apart. I would strongly suggest limiting your range to 20 yards, maybe slightly farther, until you get several double lung kills under your belt. Your youthful enthusiasm brings back memories of myself at your age. I think the reason for some of the sarcasm is that you have posted about several deer that were shot poorly this year. Take your time, limit your range, and take only high percentage shots. The confidence and consitancy will come with several well placed arrows at deer. You will get there!

Good Luck!:way:

Yes, what Bowman said. TH, you have plenty of gleened knowledge to talk the talk, but the tracks you are leaving are plainly read by many who will not even post. My apologoies to you, all other users and to Bowman for having to moderate..........ck

They could be surveyors. Cuz green power is probly the windmill people and they do make camo work coveralls by carhart ya know. They probly left cuz they felt bad cuz they messed up your hunt. Poachers don't do there thing in broad daylight like that usually.

Very impressive response CK, well put. Thank you sir.:way:

A&M is a JD dealer http://amgreenpower.com/farmequipment/index.htm

Could have been guys looking for a tractor they were supposed to do field service on... or they could have been using the company truck on the way home to trespass... only one way to know, go up and talk to them :)

If I see them again that's what I plan to do, seems weird. I know they wern't planning on working on a tractor/combine because it's all CRP and the neighboring fields had nothing in them. I did find out that the property to North-west has 2 blinds and about 5 stands. I was out after my landowner buddy told me he found a Buck I might want to look at thought it might be my Youth Buck. Turns out it isn't mine, it was shot with a arrow.

He saw me the first time calling the Buck over the second time he had no idea I was there.

I've only lost 1 Buck now and that's it, I found my Doe and it's in no condition to keep. She was 65 yards from where I shot her in the brush I passed her like 10 times atleast. Plus, the Buck wasn't even shot with my Bow. My limit now is 10 yards actualy, I've had to learn all of the stuff about Bow hunting and shed hunting on my own and with the help of you guys. My Dad doesn't Bow hunt and pretty much doesn't really care about hunting in general. I'm also saying if I work on getting farther shots with the target, the shorter 20 yard shots feel like nothing.

Bringing this back up, heard today someone poached a Deer with a .243 out of a white pick-up close to our area.

Seriously Josh, why do you post this hearsay crap on here? No one cares, and I think you are aggravating a lot of the site users. You have received a ton of good advice from a bunch of knowledgeable guys and you don't even pay attention to it. Instead of constantly feeling the need to argue or state your case, just say thank you and leave it alone. You are old enough to figure some things out on your own. It's called due dilligence. This is not a gossip site! If you are asking for some advice or help to something you 'know' about than by all means ask, but if not than please just leave it alone.
