Spring turkey 2025

I can't wait! Got my 10 year old daughter a youth tag. Very excited to take her hunting for the first time. Been seeing a lot of birds so it should be a fun time.

I'm excited to get out. Sort of a bummer on my farm though. I dont know where they go, but during the fall and through the winter I have like 30 birds roosting in it daily and on cam etc, they spend the whole day there. Usually a group of 10 or so toms. Every sit in the fall they are in the trees roosted and pitch down and spend the whole day there. Come spring they largely disappear. Haven't had a pic of one in a month now.

This is my farm in Ringgold to a T. I see a lot of turks during fall bow season and even over winter. Then they disappear.

Can’t wait either - leave for KY next week to chase them there early then IN and IL. These are some decent pics from today. Love the last one, caught him right at the end or beginning of a gobble!!!
