stabilizers

So been looking at a ton of different stabillizers lately. Liking a doinker but still up in the air. I also have looked at b stingers and strokerizeds. What do u guys like to shoot? Lengths weights etc.....

I have used quite a few and recently settled with a 7" Octane stabilizer. It's seems to balance my bow well and help with the noise, not to mention it is pretty sharp looking. They are like $50 at Cabela's but sometimes go on sale for less.

I lost my Octane some how early in October... it is somewhere in a picked bean field... I went with a Doinker Dish 12" for the replacement, I really like it. The quick detach system is nice and it really helped tighten my groups at 45 and out (at least I think it did).

Every bow and shooting style requires a different style, length and weight to be perfect. With different harmonics of noise and vibrations put out by different bows plus differences in bow set-up, form, grip and personal preference on feel after the shot, it would be impossible to just state what would be best for you. Best bet for you is to find an archery shop that has lots of stabilizers on hand that will let you shoot several to try them and see what works best for you. There can be a huge difference in how they can sound and feel.

I agree with Boyd. I also like to offset the weight of my sight with the same weight stabilizer, ie... On my Carbon Element the insert for the stabilizer is offset to the left and the sight comes off the right side, so I put a 10.2 ounce doinker carbon fatty on to offset the 10 ounce Spott hogg sight. I feel this will balance out your bow properly and help with steadiness and mechanics. I don't use a quiver on my bow so no need to offset that weight as well. I'm anal when it comes to my bow set up and I feel like paying attention to this little things will help with your shooting. Just something to keep in mind if you want. :way:

I have an Axion 4" with a Mathews harmonic stabilize you can move to find what balances and feels best to you. Just got a Taculizer which is just like the Axion but has picatinny rails for my bipod when turkey hunting.

Love my B-stinger. 10in with the 11oz if I rember right. I love it for 3D but I the first few trips hunting with it I had to take it off and put on a 6oz Lore. Im pretty sure my right arm was an inch longer after the 1/2mile walk in and out with it hanging off the end of my bow.
